Full time jobs only. You may be able to reduce to 80% or less after some time in the company. But you can never ever work as a commercial pilot somewhere else while employed by Netjets Europe.

thanks. I wouldn’t want to work elsewhere. Just to spend more time at home.

Hi everyone,
I had my interview with 2 Kura senior recruiters. First of all, I had chosen an earlier date but due to a last-minute roster change, I had to reschedule. I was a little bit concerned about the image that such a move would reflect but in fact, I quickly received a rescheduling confirmation. They seem to be very supportive. One of the recruiters will conduct the interview, asking questions, while the second will turn off his camera/mic and note your answers. About the atmosphere: very nice individuals who genuinely would like to know more about you. No need to pretend, just be comfortable with yourself. Competency-based interview so you can expect scenario questions to evaluate your CRM and what you know/expect of NETJETS and the corporate job. I suggest to not be afraid to speak too much (giving extra details) rather than too little. If you are not familiar with the STAR (situation - task - action - result) technique, I suggest that you take some time to tailor your answers accordingly. The interview will last about 45-50min and they will offer you some time to ask questions. Feedback expected within 2-5 days. Recruitment seems to lean on the EMB505 fleet, of course, depending on NJE needs at the time. Overall, I had a great time with very kind interviewers. Best of luck to you! |

I'm surprised that a couple of respected contributors liked this comment. I think the response given is wrong and could lead to real problems down the road. If you intend to use a temporary gateway as your de facto permanent gateway then please get it in writing from the company that they are ok with it. I think you won't get that statement. They know that social security needs to be paid in the country where a crew member regularly starts and finishes their duty. If the temporary and permanent gateways are in the same country then this should not be a problem, If they are not then this could become very problematic at some point. The term gateway is not legally defined but the term homebase is:
“home base” means the location, assigned by the operator to the crew member, from where the crew member normally starts and ends a duty period or a series of duty periods and where, under normal circumstances, the operator is not responsible for the accommodation of the crew member concerned; https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-cont...X%3A32014R0083 https://www.eurocockpit.eu/news/new-...w-does-it-work And the answer to both is yes. I and many with me have been doing it non-stop or at least prolonged periods with full knowledge/approval of the company. Wether or not it is actually legal in the long run (see Scandis using CPH but living in ARN), is another matter. But even there, the company still allows these crew members their ARN base/gateway now. Because they know if they touch it, **** will hit the proverbial fan. |
