I'm a bit out of the loop, historically the per diems are not inflation adjusted which is mildly annoying. If you're a UK tax resident, then they're taxed too.
As for productivity pay? I can't remember, I am sure EMS will be along soon to clarify.

It has been a while since I posted but I can say after 22 years with NJE, it is not just the salary that counts (although important). The variety of flying, vast amount of airports and dynamism of the job still appeal to me. I went to 2 new airports last tour for example. Good luck to those in the pool and how are looking to apply.

Hi guys.
Soon I will hit the requirement of 1500 hours total in order to apply to Netjets (almost 1100 hours on Airbus).
I was wondering if any o you have any info about when they could possibly open again.
PPJN says "hiring to resume in autumn 2026"
Plus, do they still use Kura for the recruitment? Because I saw on Netjets's website that they have some positions open for type rated pilots.
Really looking forward to have the chance to join the Netjets family.

From our understanding on the line, the plan is still for a recruitment window to open in the Autumn with the intention of new courses starting from 2027.
Kura should be the recruitment company. Follow them on LinkedIn and sign up to Kura's newsletter to know when it opens.
Any open positions on NetJet's website will be for EJM/EJME and not NetJets Direct. It would be a good idea to include EJME's relationship to NetJets as part of your understanding of the business for any future interview questions that might ask "What do you know about NetJets?"!

PJN is a good idea. Time to command doesnt matter based on contract. Everyone is on the same seniority therefore it doesnt matter. But based on how the company age population will exediate retirements, it will be a couple of years or so for the bottom of the list. If its something that you want straight away, look elsewhere.

The money is still very good in the RHS (more than most PICs elsewhere in business aviation and not bad compared to many short haul airline captains if you make yourself available to fly)

Not sure you can compare between being fully employed working for a large company to the highs and lows of freelancing.

In Europe we sometimes get tipped. In the US it is a different game, their pilots get tipped on a regular basis. With our salaries we luckily do not depend on tips, though, and if you do, you got a big problem on how you are spending your money!
Cleaning and luggage: this is alternating, depending on who was the pilot flying, who greeted and escorted the owners, who has got time on his hands etc.. if you are worried about getting your hands dirty or loading luggage, private aviation might not be your cup of tea.

Having said this, 4 years in I've never had to "scrub" the loo.
