If we include the UK in the EU then mostly yes. But any training that would require a visa etc would be sorted by the company. Basically you wont be sent somewhere you cant go and won't be expected to sort out your own passport/visa issues to complete any training events.

Sales position

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,

I've had a couple of interviews for a sales position in Europe for Netjets.
As I have found no forums specifically for non-pilots, do any of you have any info regarding this part of the company?
Thanks a lot!

Your flight simulator instructor will be happy to share those details with you. Do you need a copy of the Flight Manual for that, or U got that already?

Chevi I guess you mean the "sales" side of NetJets Europe? I assume you've looked through the Netjets websites? If not, go there. Learn about the different products (aircraft) and ways into the different programmes. There are a few commentators who offer criticisms which is worth looking at to get a rounded view.
Good luck.

Smile News about NetJets Europe

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if anyone has any news about whether NetJets Europe will be opening a hiring process soon.

On another note, does anyone have information on where I can prepare and what kind of simulator profile to expect?

I am a pilot with 5,000 hours in commercial airline operations looking to transition into corporate aviation.

Thanks and good luck to everyone!

with no official information I would expect recruitment to maybe re open later this year, possibly after the summer to plan for new intakes next year. We have 36 due to join this year if the number of deliveries happens (subject to aircraft engine parts). There’s a looming retirement wave that will need replacing. So the window will open at some point. This thread should have the applicable information about the sim.

Regarding the looming retirement, I believe it is important to consider the following so that new joiners now what to expect:

- Until 2029, the expected retirements will be around ~12 per year. It will only increase to around ~35 per year from 2029 onwards, but will not exceed 36. These figures obviously do not take into consideration people leaving for other companies (very few!), people taking part time (quite a lot!), and people leaving due to other reasons (e.g. loss of medical, early retirement).
- Currently, the number of pilots is 737, ie anyone joining now will be #738.
- In the last bidding round, you needed a seniority number below 220 to get a left seat on the Challenger 350. Obviously, anything larger than a Challenger 350 will draw even more interest.

Not that it makes a huge difference but having heard from one of the top it actually rises up to around 30+ mandatory retirements from 2026/27. And seen from another a graph with it above 30 from 2027 onwards

On the last bidding the more senior Guys did actually bid for the Latitude instead of the Challenger.

Dublin gateway

Have been doing a lot of reading on the threads about Netjets and will definitely be putting my application in when it opens next!

Would be much appreciated if someone who uses Dublin as their gateway drops me a PM just for a couple of specific questions

Italian gateways

Hi, does anyone know if they’ll ever add permanent gateways in Italy again?

Not a huge number of Dublin gateway-ers so chances are you might not get one here, but ask away and I can see what info I can retrieve.

Many thanks for your help, but was hoping for info more along the lines of how they manage their tax etc. so don’t bother them about that!

Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if NETJETS Europe is planning to recruit pilots in 2025? They haven’t hired since last year.
And for those of you already flying there, how’s the cockpit atmosphere? Are there any command upgrades coming up?
