superced you ve got 22days annual leave +6 SPECIAL day off

you can build 5 6 5 x 4 = 64 + 4

68 days leave

you can do that???

Thanks
No unfortunately you cannot, it is more subtle. you can work only 18 days a month (except for initial type rating).
If you take 5 days of vacation you have 2 wrap around days each side so a total of 9 days of vacation if you take 10 days then you have 3 WD each side equal 16 days of vacation; therefore on the first case you can still work 9 days, on the second 2 days only....

so if you split your vacation in 3 periods of 5 days plus one period of 7 days you will have 38 days of vacations at the end...

thanks but what is the link with 18 days a month thats the maximum you can work ok but??

and my idea was to take three blocks of 6 DAYS (18 DAYS )plus one block 10 days ( 4 days plus 6 days specila day off)

you have 5 days each side so you can take 3X 16 DAYS not on the same time of course

plus one time 10 days thats 58 days nope???

Iam wrong?? cos a EJ you can do that??

SDO are not to be taken with vacation , it is more or less a roster work around, these are days that you request to be off, and the roster is ajusted accordingly. You cannot get more than 2 SDO in a row, and they cannot be attached to vacations.

6/5 is the roster pattern, but you have to fly 50 days/quarter/ 200 days/year and a contractual maximum of 18 FLYING days a month EXCEPT if you accept to work 6 extra days. The 50/200 are WITH vacation included.

At Netjets US , they are using a 7/7 roster and indeed when they take 7 days they have 21 days...except on flexible roster... well another ball game anyway.

Well it depends how do you count : 200 - 38 = 162 days - 12 days (simulator) - 4 Days (GRT) = 144 days (Flying Days) this is 12 days a Month...

For the ones that cannot read 6 posts above :

If you take 5 days of vacation you have 2 wrap around days each side so a total of 9 days of vacation if you take 10 days then you have 3 WD each side equal 16 days of vacation; therefore on the first case you can still work 9 days, on the second 2 days only....

so if you split your vacation in 3 periods of 5 days plus one period of 7 days you will have 38 days of vacations at the end

3 * (2+5+2) = 27
1 * ( 2+7+2) = 11

27 +11 = 38.....

You can have the picture this time ?

Well thats not really true. You never get more that 22 days vacation.
The "wrap around days" are not vacation. They are days were you would have been off anyway. Since you work 6/5/6/5 you would think that if you took 6 days vacation you would have 5+6+5 days off. But they will not do that, they will only give you 2+6+2. That way they can give you a few shorter tours and have less problems with duty time.

At the end you will be flying 144 days a year...So you call the days the way you want it but here it is.
Remember it is 50/ Quarter (duty+vacation) and 18 days a month and 55 hours in 7 days..

Crunch the numbers, but after some years that is my average FLYING...

Austrian.

Well done you're gona love it.

CL300

You forgot the two days between the set of five day periods so its 18 days.
Say you book Mon 4th of whatever month till Fri 8th and Mon 11th till Fri 15th.

They will give you Fri Sat Sun 1st 2nd and 3rd Wrap around days (WAD)then sat and sun 9th and 10th then 3 wrap around days at the end 16th 17th and 18th.

So you have from Friday the 1st till Monday 18th.

So 3 WAD then 5 days holiday then 2 days in between followed by 5 days holiday and finishing with 3 WAD equalling 18 days.

Or thats how i understand it.

Are you sure that works? I think there is a rule that prevent you from doing this...You need 10 days between 2 vacation requests.

Anyway DUTY+VACATION<= 18 days in any gicen month

yep pretty sure it does.

When the policy was revised i looked at that bit quite clearly. Also queried it on GRT.

Yes your right about the ten days but its regarded as one "2 week" request

If you look at the vacation website between any two 5 day period there is a two day block and then the WAD's are given either side.

Again maybe im having a brain fart Im also sure someone will correct me if im talking pants.

Some weeks ago I've posted a question in regard to Netjets roadshow in Germany.
Is their additional information? The replies were a bit unclear.
Thanks
