Hmm,

I'm inclined to agree that it may be on the smallish side, those two flat parts of the structure look to be made from Hexcel honeycom panels!

It is a small jet engine/aircraft. Famous for a number of reasons.

WWII attack plane rather than fighter. Limited production. Spinner would be to the right.
