I am having difficulty down-loading images to photobucket.
If you mean 'uploading to', then I sometimes have the same problem.

This is why I also have an Image Shack account.

evansb 15th Jul 2012 17:42

Okay, I've managed to upload an image to photobucket, so here is the download: (be careful around the sideload)

I have a sneaking suspicion it's one of these!

sycamore 15th Jul 2012 21:07

See p.131/#2616...

evansb 15th Jul 2012 21:56

Yes, it has been done before. Sorry, was too enthusiastic to post when photobucket became serviceable. Didn't make it on the list yet either. OPEN HOUSE, just as sycamore would have it!

Noyade 15th Jul 2012 22:28

Gents.

Was the Avenger exhaust above an experiment? Flame-damping must have been difficult to achieve successfully in WW2? Here's another attempt on a well known aircraft...

Another from the Grumman Dockyard..?F4 Wildcat..? OH if correct..

Noyade 17th Jul 2012 05:29

Not a Grumman mate. But it is American.

Harley Quinn 17th Jul 2012 06:18

The Brewster Buffalo had a similar undercarriage arrangement.

Noyade 17th Jul 2012 07:13

Brewster Buffalo
And that's what it is mate. :ok: "Fish tail" exhausts on a Brewster Buffalo (W8133) in January 1942.

Your control.

Harley Quinn 17th Jul 2012 08:40

Time for an 'inny'. Apologies for the quality

I'd take a stab at it being French, HQ?
