https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....7f79ee21ff.jpg The nearest town has had several names over the years................. |
'Royal' '146s rarely fly outside Europe so maybe Ireland?(Republic of)
I'm not sure what it is but it is definitely NOT a BAe146................
The nose section in the first picture at #16635 definitely is.
16635 could be a BAe146 - but #16641 is almost certainly not.... the pictures are separated by several decades - but only a few meters...............
One does not bandy a lady's age but Princess Anne looks to be about 18 in the B&W shot. It has also served as Military Base.......... |
Baldonnell?

Along way from the Emerald Isle......... oddly enough I've visited Baldonnell House a few times over the last 30 years .
I think you need to look at the countryside in posts ~ 16635 & 16638 - not Ireland |
Has she gone?
Try Canada then. |
From that last - 1976, Montreal Olympics, family visit to Moncton flying to whatever name was in use for the original RCAF Moncton?
Thought it might be Orstralia...?
Having trouble posting more pictures....... not Canada nor Australia

Am I right in thinking the nearest aircraft at post #16638 is a Lodestar ?
I think your original photo is the two dilapidated at Kimberley.
Aircraft Operating Company. |
I couldn't find the royal visit photograph and it took a little while to identify the Lodestar.
Here we go then.... https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/pprune....c7458a3b11.jpg |
