Do you fancy a what aircraft carrier for a change?
Why not indeed.
OK, I'll start off with a couple of fairly generic views of this carrier. I don't think you will be able to get it from these, but it should narrow down the Navy.

Yorktown maybe.
It isn't the Yorktown, but like the Yorktown (CV-10) it was launched during WWII.
So, an Essex class ?
Or maybe the training carrier Sable. edit: not so sure about Sable though. |
San Jacinto perhaps?
Another shot - Cowpens ?
I had been looking for USS Hornet, relevant at the moment, so how about it?
And I've also been looking at Intrepid.
Blimey, lot of activity this afternoon
Don't need to answer No, No, Yes, No, No, as bang in the middle Davidsoffice has it with USS San Jacinto - CVL-30. President Bush senior served on this carrier. Interesting set of funnels. https://zyvr2g.bn.files.1drv.com/y4m...&cropmode=none Over to you Davidsoffice. I'll do another carrier in the future. |
I'll do another carrier in the future. |
Or we get yet another OH, which I think is coming next.
Quite correct dook. I'll be scanning my pictures in soon, now that retirement beckons, so will be able to contribute... also free from restrictions on file transfer that the office places.
I can thoroughly recommend retirement.
Now, who's got the next one I wonder. |
What are we looking at ?
This time it is not an birds eye view but more a moles view of the runway (extension) |
Leipzig...?
