Firstly they look like they could be Sea Venoms, with a carrier in the background.
Thought it might be Suez, but no sign of 'invasion stripes' on the a/c, plus the photo details says its 1960:}

my guess is somewhere in SE Asia, but no real idea where:ugh:

Another half wild guess- Trincomalee, Ceylon(wot was)

Must be Subic Bay, now Subic Bay International Airport.
