TwoChai. Sorry for the delay. Not as far as the Antipodes, this airfield is in the Northern Hemisphere.

Sahar airfield, now part of Mumbai/Bombay International Airport?

MReyn24050 20th Apr 2008 17:31

Mel's Challenge

sabredog has it :ok: :D. It is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, which was as sabredog says Sahar Airport and before that RAF Santa Cruz. The photograph was taken in 1946.
Sorry for the delay in replying. You have control.

OPEN HOUSE

sabredog 22nd Apr 2008 06:48

Redhill airfield is correct, although I was under the impression that one had to wait for confirmation of the correct answer before declaring "Open House".

twochai 22nd Apr 2008 19:43

Open House

Some may have difficulty accepting this as an 'aerodrome', but...
