No - Bear got it with Evanton (or Novar or Fieldfare.) which is also N of Inverness

looks more like Europe to me.................... but not on a river and a lake = seaside
but close to skiing? = hills or mountains near-by

Looking at the hangars and the width of the paved surfaces I would say it's for flying boats rather than seaplanes ie Sunderlands or similar.
Not Beaumaris or Dumbarton and probably not Castle Archdale; don't think it's Pembroke Dock either..
