Which Aerodrome Mk IV
"In a European country, but not in Europe."
Now that's a very careful description
- the only places that come to mind are either the countries which physically stretch outside Europe (Russia & Turkey) or those where the whole of their empire are considered part of the home country - France, Spain, maybe Denmark.......................
Is it one of the former or the latter?

we've had Ceuta - last year.........
Is it/was it part of France?

is it in the American hemisphere?
Africa perhaps?
I've been trying to make out the blurred writing on the end of the Quonset Hut. I can make out "Commerce Bank Pte.", which should narrow it down.
Singapore use "Pte." but I very much doubt this aerodrome is in that country!
PS It could of course be "Pty." which has Australian connections.

Oddly I believe Cambodia uses Pte.
Big place francophone Africa - the last picture reminded me of a couple of places in Angola but that's not French. The design looks late 60's early 70's and remarkably small for anything constructed by ADP or by a "Father of his People" leader - which is the default setting in those parts.
Does it still look the same now?
"Airport " rather then "Aeroport" ........... very interesting
The only place I can think of where you get a French/English mixture is Cameroon - which was merger of UK & French colonies - Yaounde is an International Airport" and Kriti is an Airport as well I believe.............................
