Hi Guys,
I believe it must be the front cockpit because it was a tractor type, there were eight built with some variations, I believe this one was a floatplane which I guess would make it difficult to swing a prop!

My illustration was from the Fright Archive when they visited the Aero Show at Olympia in early 1920! The sketch depicts the fifth aircraft which was fitted with a three-float undercarriage. It was used for a week giving joyrides at Southend-on-Sea. It was converted into a landplane later in 1920 and crashed in October 1920.

Yes, at one time I did stutter, and even now I am aware that hesitation lies beneath some of my conversation. 'Sir Francis Chichester' proved difficult many years ago, and the chum who ribs me, ever so gently, is once again feeling the failures of Scottish rugby.
But back to the present. The number 8 gave away the Centaur. I fear I have nowt, am away from machine for long time, and must declare Open House.
