Hello Mel !

You've put me out of my misery mate!! It is indeed the North American B-45 Tornado , that didn't last long did it, although it seems like an age!! Sorry, but I still can't delete them, it lets me in to edit them and then says I'm not logged in when I try to delete them, so I'm off to bed now, got another 4am start ahead!!

You have control again

American it is and that "black wall" is the aircraft's fuselage and yes the aircraft is a twin engined aircraft.

Not the scorpion mate.

Sorry Kitbag, you need to rotate the challenge image 90 deg. to the right. While you're doing that, here's a clue. Another intake shot of the same aircraft...

G'day Graeme,

Is that a Martin XB-51 ?? The dorsal intake would fit with that!

Seems like the clock (at the bottom of the page) is OK at the moment, so my post is in the correct place, but Prune time regularly seems to jump back around eight hours and fifteen minutes (see my edit to my post on Cryptic thread a couple of hours ago) . I gather it's unlikely to be fixed until Monday 'coz the software house is closed for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend

Tis the one Trevor, your control. And yes, it was the dorsal intake.

Thanks again Graeme! My new challenge has appeared above my answer to your last challenge !!

When I logged in to submit my new challenge the Prune clock was correctly showing GMT, however, when it appeared it was eight hours and twenty minutes ago !! I could undestand if it was exactly eight hours behind as it would mean it picked up local time on a US west coast server! Maybe the odd minutes means that it logged my answer when I opened the "editpost page" rather than when I hit the button to submit it! BTW, I'm not that slow at typing, I had to log onto PB to get the image URL as I'd mislaid it !

To compound my aggravation, I tried to edit my post and while I was doing this, the sodding clock went back to GMT, so when I hit "save changes", it had logged me out as I hadn't refreshed for eight hours, so when I had to log on again I lost my edit and had to start again
Aaargh!!!

Edit to say it's flipped again. I'll save this edit at exactly 07:39

Morning Kitbag and welcome to the time-warp madness (current time showing 00:28)!!

Wish I could just pop back to get my euromillions ticket !!

Sorry, it's not the VF-614.

This should appear just after your post unless it flips again while I type this!

Edit before second attempt to post:

However, it had flipped and it said I wasn't logged in when I tried to submit, but I'd learned my lesson and saved it to the clipboard first !!

So this should be the last post, unless etc, etc (no wonder there wasn't many about yesterday)

I guess this will be out of order as the clock is now showing wacky time again.

Noyade correctly identified the Collins Aerodyne and has declared Open House
