Which Aerodrome Mk III
RAF Khormaksar?
OP, thanks. I went to Aden once in the early 90s and there was something familiar about the buildings in your picture.
When I was there, there was an odd mixture of British and Russian airfield buildings . Very strange.
No pictures to hand so OPEN HOUSE.

I went there once in 1961 and the RAF made me stay there for two years. The picture was taken from one of those funny buildings!I lived in one and they were not air conned!!
Open house
OK? I can make mistakes ,so sorry .As for "where on earth"I sometimes look all day and never see a reply ,so if the picture in question has only to last 24 hrs then I will give the answer to another ,does that help?
oldpax,
Don't worry. LM picks on everybody. He's not singling out you for a Firestreak up the jet pipe.

Never ceases to amaze me how many of those airfields were built in the UK. Within a 15 miles radius, I see at least three other WWII (or early Cold War) era airfields. Don’t really understand why this was completely removed and at what cost, just to turn it in agricultural land. And in the same radius, a couple of grass airfields are using up agricultural land (maybe not as much as was reclaimed here, as the triangular, triple runway layout uses up a lot of space).
Oh, and eh, I found the place by cheating, so won’t join the competition. But still eager to learn more about the place, and why this one was completely removed.
