Which Aerodrome Mk III
How about somewhere in the US?
Thank you Sabre, SiR - Gia Lam – Well, I was working on it being a USAAF field stateside when SHO suggested French Colonial so it's really his fault I got it.
Re Aboukir - the Battle of the Nile (aka the Battle of Aboukir Bay) - The Immortal Memory - There's even a Nelson's Island just off the point.
Try this aerodrome for size - some interesting numbers involved. Sorry about the fuzzy photo, my nerves were playing up on finals and I needed both hands. You'll have to be quick, I'm leaping off for the weekend later on Saturday. LFH

Telluride,KTEX,Colorado.....OH if correct..
Spot on Sycamore, Telluride it is LFH.
Trying to Land - R/W 27
The field elevation's bigger than the runway length - 9070 v 7000
From their website - "TellurideRegionalAirport sits atop Deep Creek Mesa and is North America's highest commercial airport. At 9,070 feet above sea level, the airport offers picturesque views of the San Juan mountains. And now - getting to Telluride has never been easier – ...."
.... if you have nerves of steel.
Sycamore has declared Open House.

`Hoskins, I`ve told you before ,you are supposed to land on the `runway`,and taxi to dispersal and park it there`..You are not to disperse it in the parking lot so you can get in the taxi...!!!
