I blurred out the "AIR BVI" sign on the DC-3. At least some of the C-46s seen at San Juan were those of Air Haiti.
I don't have any idea of the location of the current challenge.

The L-1049 was probably Aerochaga from the Dominican Republic.
Incidentally, I was in the congo line at San Juan one day in my DC-10 and we had a DC-3, DC-4, DC-6, DC-7 and DC-8 in front of us. I commented to Ground Control that we were just missing a DC-9 to make up a set.
"Don't worry" said he "There's one just coming" and an Air Antilles DC-9 came round the corner!
Quite remarkable.
