I am curious about the photo claimed to be at the St. Francois Xavier, Manitoba aerodrome.
I know of no BCATP/RCAF airfield at this location. St. Francois Xavier is a rural municipality and the community is no more than a hamlet. There is a single 3,000 ft. airstrip of turf/earth/gravel , but no remnant of an aerodrome with a substantial structure such as depicted in the photo with the Mosquito.
Can you direct me to the photo's web site ? Thank you.

P.M. on it's way,Bri. Could well be an incorrect photograph caption.
Although there is a question mark over the airfield identification, jindabyne answered in good faith,so still has control.
Over to you,jindabyne.
