I must say Ken, your silhouettes are looking very nice. Don't always know what they are, but very nice. I feel kind of inadequate now.

European again?

I'm using that GIMP programme I mentioned I downloaded for free. Does the job

Western Europe design.

Going to hit the hay soon, so usual rules apply.

Western Europe design.
May have fallen into one of your traps again. Is this a modern or current design?

Evening mate. No traps...the design is from the 1930's. A one off.

Would have responded sooner but kept getting "Database Error".

Morning Ken!

"Database Error".
Er...PPRuNe or my e-mail provider? Had a password problem with the e-mail program. Fixed I hope.

Damn.
I was eliminating Poland at the time and then thought it maybe a trap.
(I wonder if Hitler thought that?....)

Single seat?

No, the database error was on Pprune. Just temporary I guess as its working ok now!

You're thinking too much about traps. Not Polish but this aircraft was destroyed by the Germans in 1940.

Yes, single seat

I think the nation concerned may take offence at poor! Not a fighter but an aerobatic aircraft.

Incidentally a replica of this aircraft was built and flew in the 1990's. I believe it's now in a museum. Best bit is that the design of the replica was overseen by the designer of the original!

Edit to say, bear in mind this is a western European aircraft. And to make life easier it's not French or British.

You did mention that before. Why did I look at Poland? Must be the heat - now 28 deg.C @ 2300hrs.

I dunno mate. Where's that swooping Trevor?

So how about Belgian, Ken? That might put it in the position to be wrecked by the bosch in 1940? RR

Not Belgium but a neighbouring country....not Luxembourg

So that should narrow it down to one!

Offline for the next hour.

My guess is the Koolhoven F.K. 45 of 1931. I do not know what else it could be.

Edit; Other than a Lambach H.L.II which I see TC has beaten me to it.

Evening Ken,

First chance of a look-in today!

Is it the Lambach HLII ??

It'll have to be an Open House if correct, as I'm off home now and don't yet know if my home internet is back up yet!
