Handing the thread over to the night shift.
BTW, had you seen that Jane's 1913 has been published in the web by the Gutenberg Project on Monday?
Night!
Edit to say: Almost forgot - would the challenge be Avro Duigan Biplane Sea Bird? (Graeme: Note question mark).
The place of the picture could then be Windermere, from where Duigan took his plane back home to Australia.
Open House if correct.

Will check the thread again in about an hour but to summarise clues ...
1913 design
Not French
Unusual radiator for first V6 then V8 engine
Manufacturer went on to have a long but interrupted history in the industry ..........and (new clue) including several previous challenges.
And to respond to RegDep's submission, not the Avro and not British - or Australian.

Loughead G (Lockheed) 1913
80hp Curtiss V-8 tractor (p: Allan Loughead). First Lockheed product, built in a former auto garage at Pacific Ave and Polk St in San Francisco, with the designation "G" used to give the impression they had been in the business for a while. Original motor was 6-cylinder Kirkham, replaced after 15 minutes of flight time.
OK one11 still logged in and green light on, but...
Again Open House if correct. Over and out.

Artnoon LM,
I think it's a Moss M.A.2 ??
Just grabbing a hurried lunch break, still very hectic after the break, so it'll have to an open house please if correct, as I won't be back again today.
If I get a chance soon, can I send you a few more to process? I haven't got sorted on that yet!

In the meantime - yes, it is indeed the Moss.
TC has declared Open House.
Anybody out there got something?
