Now that I have seen the picture of the Beauty against a Swedish pine forest, I am throwing the towel in

You must understand why I was betting PIK the "Quarter", though

Not maybe mate !! It is!! Despite it's name, the figures just didn't add up and it was scrapped
I saw it on the runway on its maiden flight from Southend in 1957, I was on the top deck of a bus on my way back from school.
I knew my challenge was doomed as soon as I saw you were back online, I suspect you'd have gor my other one too, but it may have taken a little longer!
You have control skytrain
Edited to say tough luck Reg

Well TC, I thought it was a HS 780 Andover with refueling capabilities (because of the funny piece in the tail) and while trying to verify it stumbled on the Accountant. So in fact good luck but slow process.

As an interim entry, before I find more about it:
de Havilland DH.81 Swallow Moth
EDIT: No, its not that, although it is not very far from Moth Minor Coupe....

Good evening skytrain,
Busy afternoon and no time to play, I've just been looking at Hirth and was about to ask, so thanks for confirming!
I've not been able to find your drawing, has it got retractable U/C ?
I wondered if it was the Hungarian Samu-Gednczy SG-2 of 1949, I can only find an artists impression and it has some features, but apparently it has fixed gear and the canopy looks wrong!
There was also a couple of Spanish trainers, but again only impressions.
Was it pre or post war?

Hi Sinco
You are in the right country but its not the Samu-Gednczy SG-2.
I believe the undercarriage is fixed although information that specific is limited.
Its neither pre or post war....early 1940's....that should help!

Thanks skytrain,
I looked at the MSrE M-25 Nebuló (Urchin) some time ago, but the tail and canopy didn't match, but the year and engine do and the images may have been the M-24!
Back to the search, but got to go soon!
Have to go now and I guess you're dining at the moment, so Open house please if this's correct.

Well, despite your doubts Sinco it is the MsRE M25 Nebulo...
Although there are some differences the picture is generally close to the 3-view, although certainly the canopy is more streamlined in the photo. However as I sourced both the picture and 3-view from the same website I figured that the connection would be made!
So Sinco, you needn't search anymore, its over to you!
