Bonjour Bradenav.

Come on, Noyade is eleven hours ahead of us and we could get a stalled thread.

Hello ,bonjour ,bonsoir .

It's an european bird ,projected by a well known designer in a well known company.
There is some(a little) truth in the noyade joke

Good luck

When you say European do you include the Israelis?

Actually I have a feeling that Romania is involved here. Is it an IAR project?

Good day, although I have not found a picture to confirm my theory, may I suggest the post-WW2 Heinkel 013 fighter concept?

TU114...I think it was actually the Heinkel 031 (as opposed to 013), aka Florett, proposed to meet Germany's first post war fighter competition in 1956?

I think that 013 was a typo:

It's the Mach 2 Heinkel He 031 "Florett" designed by Siegfried Günther (Who worked in URSS after the War).
It won the competition for a german fighter in 1957 ,but then ,the NATO changed his request to VTOL fighters .

Tu.144 ,you have the control

Cool

Ridge Runner, I sit here just like the Pavlov dog with You ringing the Glühwein bell... I wish I was, but my schedule tells me to go on an extended duty later today - so no chance.

And as I will likely have no chance to drop in for a few days, let´s call it open house to keep the thread going.
