Make a woman look slimmer and with bigger breasts is a good one!
Why would you do that LM?

Hier ist ein bild des flugzeuges
RegDep, should that read "Ein bild des Flugzeuges hier ist" ?

Why would you do that LM?
Why not?

No. "Hier ist ein Bild des Flugzeuges" is correct. I think you are too much under Daddy's Army influence. Rolling Rs, tzzzing(?) THs, and putting all verbs at the end were its tools.

Why not?
If why not is an option, then why bother?

Coffee time!!
Thanks for the proxy service LM, I'll try and get some more to you ASAP.

The current funny looking contraption is from a photograph of a model because the photos of the real thing would be very confusing as silhouettes, due to the angles not being very good for our purposes.

One key to finding it, would be the word used to describe the passenger cabin (for two), a word usually associated with another mode of transport!

Blimey - clues already?

Something we could associate with skiing maybe.

Hmm,

Sorry mate, that's what comes of replying in haste with too many things going on! I was thinking of someting on the river (or lagoon), but yes, you're correct, a ski-lift is also called a gondola lift.

That's blown that wide open then! Oh well, at least it should go before I do and save me typing up loads of clues that never get used !!

Go for it Reg, search for gondola! LM doesn't usually play when he posts for me!

Well done Reg,

It is the McClary A "Flying Pancake"

There are four interesting photos here:

McClary A Motor Glider

It was classified as a monoplane, but I would also describe it as a very low aspect-ratio flying wing. Officially, it was classed as a Motor-Glider. It looks as if the pilot sat behind the engine in the front pod. I wonder what happened to it.

Everybody seems to be away at the moment, let's hope it pick up soon!

So, with the danger of this thread becoming the Reg and TC show with LM doing our dealings! RegDep, you have Control.

Bugger, just finished work and missed you

RegDep has declared Open House (well, at least that's broken the chain)!

Good morning everyone.

Did anyone else have problems logging on last night?

This is the first time I have been able to do so.

Well done RegDep - it's the HERTI.

I have ten minutes before the next lecture so I'll try to get something for you. If I'm not back soon you will have to declare OH.

Thanks LM. In fact we had a discussion three weeks ago on a TC's challenge where I tried to push J-5 and J-6 and BAE drone, but it was a Turkish ringer....
