Are you perhaps authorized by WK to give clues in the case at hand
Sorry. He never reveals the answer to me and at the moment I'm in the same position as you all are.

Well in that case I'll log off and check the progress in the morning. Don't disappoint me!

Graeme is right, I tend to pick a lot of French types.
So, to create confusion, this one is NOT from overthere!

Well, I've been there and you're right.

Would it be from Germany?

Is it the Sesefsky Biplane from Romania?

Funny shock-absorbers
Those will be twin lamblin radiators I believe.

Looks that way. Picture in Flight January 3, 1924 is heavily retouched and the 3-D looks a bit different.

Astra-Sesefski has the same picture un-retouched and another 3-D.

Prototype only was made, so the challenge may be a bit 'imaginary' 3-D.....

Bingo for skytrain10 and RegDep. If I understand well it was a design of a Mr. S.Sesefsky and built by Societe Astra.
Dont`t shoot me, but I think skytrain10 was the first to come with the name Sesefsky.

Thanks Walter....a good challenge. The radiators lead me to it in the end.

Let's try this one:

Almost there eh,

Surely not the K-5, that had a different fin shape, there was a drawing that looked a dead ringer for yours except for an exhaust stack. Can't look deeper now though, work beckons so maybe LM can supply the coup-de-grace

Edited to say that the K-1 or K-3 looks closer than the 5

Final edit to mention the K-2. They all seem to have the same illustrations and have only found a 3-view for the 4

Not the K-5....not only did that have a much longer nose (like the K-4) but a different tail as well. You're heading in the wrong direction!

And not the K-3 either....

Well I guess if you put them all down you will get there in the end!

Yes its the K-1....the give away is the nose, which is shorter, more rounded and has a totally different exhaust.

You're control Sinco

The K1 and K2 had a single exhaust stub above the engine.

They did, but the K1 was long and vertical whereas the K2 was short and at about a 60 degree angle.

Thanks skytrain,

I was too much of a hurry as work calls and the site I found kept showing me the same photo for all of the sub-types.

Better be 013 please LM, bound to go before I get back to the workshop!!
