I'm going to be fairly busy this afternoon, so I'll anticipate a couple of likely questions on some items that may not be too clear from the silhouette's viewpoint.
There are two booms (albeit rather spindly) supporting the horizontal tail surface, the Fin/rudder is centrally placed on this and is braced to take the loads of a small tailwheel.
There is a small motor hiding behind the wing between these booms. Therefore, it is yet another Pusher, but not as shiny new as LM's last offering!
Good luck guys, I'll leave my light on and monitor as often as possible.

Been busy this morning so just catching up. Going back to the Elipse, as Graeme pointed out it is a homebuild/kit plane, and of course we've had it before (having posted it myself), so I had completely discounted it despite its likeness to the silhouette.

Good afternoon skytrain,
No wonder that the Ellipse looked so familiar, especially to you! Although, in fairness to LM, there's a typo in the latest list and it's down as LH-10 Eclipse.

Oddly enough it wasn't the Elipse that it reminded me of.....however now I've found out what it was I'm saving that for another challenge!
The current challenge is not an "ultralight" and not from the US

Signing off and handing over control
Quiet innit, must be something I said
Gentlemen, I'm signing-off in about ten minutes and as usual, I have sent the answer to my challenge along with some clues to LM who will take control when he returns later this evening!

Well done Walter, it is indeed the Polen Special II from 1972 . One of the best looking (in my book), and reportedly fastest homebuilts ever made.
You have control WK.
