That's a Wann-King Noy-1 is it not?
Yes, designed by a British gentleman, Master Bates...

I've been everywhere with flying wings.

Did this thing maybe start life as a glider?

Ever wondered how the hell Google works sometimes?

I googled, I think, "early powered sailplanes" and clicked images. The first image was a picture of a roast turkey...?!

And then it brags that it achieved 234,456 hits in 0.0045 seconds?!

Sometimes I think if Google slowed down a bit, it might be more accurate?

You are right : KUPPER is the designer ,but it was built by a "Fliegergruppe".
At first it was a sailplane without swept wing .
Good luck
Richard

Could it be the Ku-4 Austria?

Hmmmm, clearly not. Thats what happens when you post a guess you've never seen a picture of.

LM, thats the one that made me think of Kupper....but from what Richard has said the challenge does not bear Kupper's name.

The hunt continues!

There is a resemblance to the Kirchner Futurum....but its not that.

Been through all the "flying wing" and glider websites and not getting anywhere!
