Fuji T-3; the others (-5 and -7) are turboprops with appropriate air intakes not the classic horizontal ones.
And I'm certainly missing how a Mig 17/UTI/Lim/whatever can be a "USA aircraft" ?

Diesel Addict...Yes it's the 'D' Reason being, it differs from the 'C' in having RP (Scan ODD) interception radar in the nose.Thought you might have noticed that from the 'C'

Paper Tiger is correct It is the Fuji T-3 .
Although superficially resembling a T-34A ,the observant will have noticed the different engine installation of the more powerful 340 hp Lycoming which externally is the givaway for this aircraft.
Nakajima licence-built the Mentor , from which Fuji derived the LM-1 and LM-2. This led to the Fuji KM-2 which was a side by side two seater. This airframe design was back configured into a tandem two seater as the KM -2B, hence the T-34 similarity. It was adopted as the T-3, retaining the KM-2's more powerful engine.
To fall into the basic trap of dismissing it as "a T-34A" is a bit like calling an Hispano Buchon an " Me 109" .

The rare bird. The MD 453 Mystere III (Mystere de nuit) was the one-off night fighter prototype.
It continued its career as an ejection seat trials aircraft.
Well done S'land.

FlightlessParrothas it in one, The Breguet 763 Deux Pont it is. The Deux Ponts were convertible passenger/cargo airliners and had seating for 59 tourist class passengers on the upper deck and 48 second class on the lower. The 763 entered service with Air France in 1953 and was operated between France and Algiers. They were designated as the ‘Provence’. A military version, the 765 ‘Sahara’ entered service in 1958. There is a photograph of a 763 in Air France livery here:

Why do the French (closely followed by the Brits) have to design the ugliest aircraft in the world?
France, the birthplace of haute couture, why couldn't they carry the same style, sophistication and graceful lines into aircraft design????

Nothing here to post, so Open House (and decks).
BTW, the latest double decker flew over Auckland yesterday, but I didn't get to see it.
BTW, there are some pics on the web (linked from Wikipedia), and the Deux Ponts doesn't look too bad in them, except for that stupid central fin.
