Sorry, not the Scheibe Sperling. The mystery aircraft first flew on 6 September, 1958, and was powered by a 135-hp Lycoming.

Twin fins, Lycoming engine and a tail dragger. Let's try the Crislea Ace or Super Ace?

I must confess that I have never heard of it, but it looks to be an interesting home build craft.

Yes, it is the Van Lith VI. Only one was built. No flaps, but it had leading edge slots. The maiden flight date was from 'Histavia France'. RETDPI has control.

Just a lucky bit of browsing I am afraid, popped in just after you'd posted it, knew it was called a Joigny, had to look up the rest! Oddly enough there is a Wassmer 50 three view in the book I am using for the next challenge which looks rather more like the Joigny than any plastic Wassmer I've ever seen.

Anyhoo, here's my challenge, slightly further back in time!

Shouldn't take long I'll wager...
