The wing matches a certain lightweight American jobber.

If so, I assume the gear is retractable.

Further research indicates that I was wrong to thing Bede

Have a good day.

I think it may be the McDonnell XP-67 ??

the ailerons don't match in a drawing I've found but the change in wing planform looks promising! I've only got five minutes and then it's back to work, so Open House please if correct,

Boys, boys..... I'm not sure who to award it too. The XP-39E was planned to be the XP-76 in production I believe. However, Bradenav also got XP-39E so, Richard, it is YOUR CONTROL now....
