This one is proving to be a real poser.

Let's try a Robin R 200?

It looks like one of the earlier iterations of the Van's RV-12

Built in 1975, the designer was called Yves ******* . One written off, no fatalities, and two still flying.
Powered by Rotax.......

chiglet's challenge

Built in 1975, the designer was called Yves *******
Yves Gardan was a French aircraft designer who designed a similar aircraft the C.A.B GY-30 Suppercub but that had a tricycle undercarriage but flew in 1954 before CAB abandoned further aircraft manufacture. Whether this aircraft was updated in 1975 when Yves Gardan had, I believe left, Horizon I do not know.

Sorry Mel,
It wasn't M Gardan.
I'll put you all out of your misery. It is in fact a "homebuilt", called the
"Chasles LMC1 Sprintair"
As my Christian name is Charles, [with all the different forms of spelling, connotation, nicknames etc,] I thought that this was quite an apt "challenge"....sorry
I declare Open House....

Yes, it is the asymmetrical ARES. The aircraft was seen flying in the Mojave desert as recently as June, 2008. You have control.

Seeing it's a few hours since the last post, may an oxymoron the starter of this baby, have a go? Got one real 'pearler' to fox you.

Further, I note with concern that Mr. Evansb/ F/O Chiglet are now submitting 'line drawings' a total diversion of the original thread. I expect apologies forth with.

This is Chiglet's challenge. I've no idea what it is, thought that tail reminds me slightly of a Stinson I think.
