I'll be offline most of today, so hopefully this one won't go fast and put the thread into hibernation for a few hours...........not the best 3- view. It did have an engine.

Walter-Karl has control, having identified the Alliet-Lariviere AL.06 from 1946.
I cant resist quoting from a review of the Paris show , where it first appeared ".....the wonderful French artistry of ceiling decorations, neon lighting, and gay stands, with the overhanging blue haze mingling the smells of fresh dope, new paint, paraffin, charcoal fumes, tobacco smoke, new leather and rubber tyres and Parisian scent.
A few words there have radically changed meaning over the last 60 odd years.
Cheers Doug

The PC police will be after you.
They don't like references to new paint.....

Do I see parachutist platforms at the base of the outboard rear interplane struts ?
Cannot have been many examples thus modified....

About the Virginia and the parachutists:
The parachutists would climb onto the wings, and cling to the struts during the take off and climb. They were pulled off by the parachutes. They didn't jump, and them pull the ripcord. They just pulled the ripcord, and were pulled off by the inflating parachute. Aeroplane Monthly had something about it some time ago. (35 years or so).
A bit about it here. Page 21-22-23-24.

Excellent Bradenav.
Charles Cox and Alexander Klemin formed the Cox-Klemin Aircraft Corporation at Long Island in 1920. The company went bankrupt in 1925.
Two 275hp Isotta-Fraschini Asso engines.
To the best of my knowledge it never flew.
You have control.
