Silhouette challenge
Ahh....now I remember. Someone mentioned this on WC a while back.
Gevers Aircraft - Genesis Triphibian
I bet it's dead and buried...dates back to 1996.

awaiting investment but design complete.

Naive, yes, but not a toy.
Edit: Ok.
At least a model built, to the best of my knowledge.
It never left the ground, obviously.
"Invention". At least another patent from same author.
Tilt... something!

Thirties, aerofiles says never been built.
It was another (earlier) model which has been built and collapsed due to vibrations.
Offline for an hour or so, see you later.

No, but apparently the inventor said something along these lines.
He said that everyone would eventually have one of his machines in his garage and that the railroad companies would buy the shares of his company before meeting their doom as trains would become obsolete.
And think propulsion - weird propulsion...

Goodnight clue.
"rocket" engines, designer did not experience conversion on the road to Damascus (but had the same name), and was a German worm in the month of May.

Evening HP,
Couldn't resist your goodnight clue!! It was the follow on project to Paul Maiwurm's 1929 "Fly Wurm", don't know if it had an official name, possible called the Cyclonic Rocket, it was designed in 1934, but remained un-built!
In the workshop all day, just getting something to eat before hitting the hay before another 5am start, so Open House please if you're happy to pass that for an answer , Cheers TC
