An unbuilt fighter then?

Another thought - twin-engined?

Any more clues as I have limited resources for winkling out esoteric aircraft. I must admit I have seen this one somewhere, but where I have no clue.

Is This the
MiG-2
MiG-5
DIS ( Dvukhmotortnyi Istrebitel Soprovozhdyenyia – twin-engined escort fighter)
DIS-200
Samolyet T
IT (Istrebitel Tyazhelyi - heavy fighter)

all different designations of the same aircraft

This could have been very useful to the Soviets if they had had more factory capacity.

Morning all,

Is it a Polikarpov VIT-2 ??

Some aspects seem not quite as "rounded" in the only front view I found and it lacks the bomb racks and aerials, but it's worth a quick stab in the dark before heading off for work! Open House please, in the unlikely event of it being correct!!

Edited to say G'evening Graeme just seen you appear on the "active list"; gotta go now, busy day ahead, good hunting

not 633

designation derived from studies by ANF les Mureaux

the Potez 63 was produced instead of this, despite it's better performance.

Don't know how many built possibly only one.

two built of Sister ship reconnaissance machine with gondola.
