Is the rudder deflected, i.e. would the vertical leading edge be straight?

Latvian?

I have just been looking at the first pages of this thread from when it started.

Yes it is deflected.

Otherwise the rudder leading edge would follow the fin contour.

Not Latvian.

Abend Reg.

In my book the opposite of long range is long endurance.

Is that correct?

Either that or it was built for speed.

Pratt & Whitney radial?

RR not Warsaw pact region (didn't exist at the time, either)

LM yes, isn't it. That's the way the artwork presents it, however.

Zis version didn't fly but the subsequent versions did some test flights before the time flew past them.
