It is a Kaman mate, but not the H-43 Husky. It is mentioned in Avistar - The World's Rotorcraft.

Thanks Graeme...

Thinking of Husky and Huskie, I was wondering whether sycamore mean't the Rotorcraft Grasshopper or the Cierva LTH1 Grasshopper...they are both pretty similar from the front, although at that point the likeness ends!

Anyway here is my next offering:

Rotorcraft Grasshopper or the Cierva LTH1 Grasshopper.
Thanks Ken. Got a PM from HP querying that...but I just saw "Grasshopper" and none of my sources (books) call the LTH-1 that?

Yours French?

Yes, it was built as a Racer LM. Single fin.

Graeme....the Cierva (as opposed to Rotorcraft) was my first thought when I saw it...as it occurred after sycamore's I didn't bother to look any further!

And not French

Graeme, see my correction in the previous post.

No world records, but it did hold a national record for the country it was built in.

Flying wing design? or just a streamlined fuselage profile?

Not USA Graeme.

Happy Pass...not a flying wing design, but as you say, a streamlined profile.

Attending to the garden now. Will check in later.

I think it's a Letov S-8 ?

Edited to say, bugger!! I just had a phone call and I'm going to have to go out for at least a couple of hours, so it'll have to be Open House if correct!
