could almost be 1910 Le "Canard" de Fabre, but the wings are drooping a bit too much.

RR would this be of Carl Richard "Blowtorch" Nyberg's of Sweden? Maybe even steam-driven? Not a Duck but a Fly (Flugan).

Maybe a Lohner from Austria

(that's what you meant buttrick?)

Or something along the lines of Paulhan "à voler" wing and Curtiss….

As one can see, I am getting desperate

Aaa, you mean Loening Duckling of 1918. That would fit a clue….

Not a sesquiplan, though.

Morning RD and HP.

I can't find this one. I'll give up and go shopping. Maybe RR will offer a clue soon - but I bet I miss it if he does.

Morning Mate. I share your fate both in SC and the "real-world" Saturday life .

By the way HP, interesting post under the picture in Loening Amphibian: 1925 | Shorpy Historic Photo Archive about General/Colonel William Mitchell.

The wing is a bit Goedeckerish / Taubeish, which points to the German-Austrian axis (pun intended) but to find a sesquiplane….

Going out now.

Thanks LM,

Here is a swopsy for you. A bit modulated…..
From RegDep,

I think this aircraft was McDonnell Model 2 fighter project.
