Thanks, once you've seen it, you can't forget it... especially the tagline:
Not only did it appear to be built backwards, but the C 1 wound up upside-down after only seconds of flight
Standby for next one...
Here it is:

Scenic background.

An unusual adaptation of the BD-5, the Acapella 100, appeared in the early 1980s. Designer Carl D. Barlow of Option Air Reno mated a BD-5 fuselage with a distinctive twin-boom empennage and fitted it with a 100 hp Continental O-200 engine. Later, a 200 hp Lycoming IO-360 was fitted, and the wings shortened from 26.5 feet to 19.5 feet, becoming the Acapella 200-S model.

TC, I suggest you try Firefox. It can take quite some time to load when you first start it, but it is quite fast, versatile, stable and powerful. Version 4 also supports graphic acceleration, and there is a lot less clutter in the browser window than before, when I first ran it, it was like I had a bigger monitor...

Thanks HappyPass

If I may reiterate HP's comments Sinco, go for Firefox. In my experience once its up and running its quicker, suffers less crashes and is more user friendly. Finally it is supposedly less prone to viruses. If you do, then make sure you mark it as your default Browser.

General Aviation XFA-1

OH, if correct, I am going to turn in soon. Just flew in, circumventing the ash cloud over Northern Germany.

Back from supper now,

Welcome home Reg, I hope you had a good break!

HP and skytrain; thanks for the advice on browsers, I did try FF a while ago, but it baulked at my 64-bit system! I expect that's been fixed by now, so I will give it another try!

Here's another "project", hopefully to puzzle the "nightshift"

G'day Graeme ,

You're perishing books seem to have every darn thing in them don't they I bet if you'd been around earlier, my earlier De Bruyere Canard would be in there too! I see that one of your past challenges popped up again just after that, but in a completely different style so it was still a good challenge!

Yes mate,

It is Mr Rubik's R-21 Transport Glider project of 1944, not a puzzle for you though mate!!

Noyade has control

Thanks Stig/Trevor!
Winchester, Jim - The World's Worst Aircraft, Grange Books, p.290
I'm pretty sure you told me in the past you have this book? I try to avoid those books that I know others have.

I see that one of your past challenges popped up again
The Acapella 200 or was it 100? I thought I did, but can't find it on Mel's list. Was that during our AviaQuiz like stage? I remember the book.

Anyway, I'm still learning with the new scanner, be gentle!...

No mate; must be someone else, I haven't got Winchester Jim, or much else for that matter! Just a Flight World Aircraft and Systms Directory 2002 and Greens World Aircraft '62 !!

Your Acapella was in the Aviaquiz style (page 401 #8009). I just remember how hacked-off I was with goggle 'coz all I could find was music!!

Scanner looks to be working well.

I gotta sign off now as it's a 5am start tomorrow. Have a good day
