Yes, the barbs on the nacelles are exhausts for the turboprops.

evansb - just curious on the Avtek 400 image - it clearly shows winglets but photos do not show them. I also saw one of the few built at Camarillo last November and no winglets.

Re the AVTEK 400 winglets, had the aircraft entered serial production, winglets would most likely be standard equipment, as per the artist's rendering:

LM's "...easier than you think" challenge wasn't, for me at least. I think it is the
Sukhanov Diskoplan-2.

Ah...what do you mean "it isn't" ? I have three sources that say it is a Diskoplan-2.

...and I had two sources which said it was the Dornier D.

Now that I have Goggled Discoplan I see it's the same aeroplane!
