It had to be Beech inspired.. lovely aircraft with those horrid yokes..

Too true, but which one? The only one I know it is not is a Twin Bonanza.

So, I'll go for the Queen Air.

(The Baron and the Travel Air had throw over yokes.)

It doesn't look complex enough or big enough for the "John Wayne" model. I vote for the female equivalent - the Duchess.

Believe the Drover was purpose built for the RFDS, utilising the plentiful supply of Australian built Gipsy Majors (by GM Holden). Looking at that cockpit, three throttles and practically no engine instruments gave it away just RPM and oil pressure guages and a set of mag switches for each one!



This next challenge is very straightforward as I am away from the computer after tonight for a couple of days, anticipate rapid solution....
