Sorry... 0/3 (half a mark for effort though)

Clue - The first prototype flew in 1946...the two individuals are "well known"... the one with the medals didn`t fall for the sales pitch from the one on the left.

Well done RETDPI the Supermarine Attacker it was ... 2/3 The gent on the right was the then Shah of Persia....






(and apparently after a grass take off the furrows caused by the jet efflux were big enough for 3 men to lie down in )

I was hoping that not putting in the Shah would get me off the hook! Nothing to hand at present so could somebody step in please.

Possibly the Malmö MFI-9? or Bolkow 208 Junior [same aircraft I think]
