Mel, is that an Earth Inductor Compass housed in a box in the upper right portion of the instrument panel ?

Thanks Mel. Very lucky shot - reminds me of the archer at the Olympics at Barcelonea lighting the torch...speaking of which, is James Bond really going to open the London Olympics?

Oh dear. Reading the caption (in the sunlight) it would appear this is a "completely refitted front cockpit", which I guess would make searching for rather difficult?

Graeme. Yes the aircraft was from the USA, it was designed between 1939 and 1945 and first flew towards the end of WWII.

It was designed as a dive bomber and torpedo bomber.

Thanks Mel,

I could only find photos of the side panels, but there was a tiny overlap onto the main panel in one corner of the RH one !

Cockpits are easier than silhouettes to prepare; the big problem is finding one that's not on your list

Here's one that isn't (I hope)!
