Pardon me, but aren't the "rules" of this game that only the winner of the previous challenge should post the next challenge or specifically offer Open House?

Correct, but Chevron has declared open house so I guess JB007's second post is "legal"
On another matter, can someone point me to the list of airfield that have already been posted?

Thanks Moondance. A company was planning on Dash-7 service way back in 2003, but I haven't heard of any current sked carriers into Broadford recently. The airport operator is listed with a tel: 01478 612727, fax: 01478 612255. Here is the next 'Which Aerodrome?'

New boy here. Is it time for a clue after 24 hours, evansb?
My guess is Northern hemisphere, probably North American continent and, judging by the length of runway, lack of dispersals and size of car parks - a manufacturing base?

Flap40 is correct The Hughes Airport was at one time the largest private airport in the U.S. The runway wasn't paved until after WW.II.
The giant Hughes H-4 "Hercules" flying boat was built there, and trucked to the harbour at Long Beach. The airport was closed in 1985. Hughes also built this giant there.
You have control.
