I will go alng with Speechless Two this a Commonwealth Training Scheme airfield. But I will go for one in Africa. No. 27 EFTS near Bulawayo perhaps?

Yes, Mel it is Begumpet Air Force Station, near Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh, a disputed area between Pakistan and India. The airfield was home to No.1 EFTS until 1945, when it reverted to civilian operations. This alternate view shows the terminal building and the operations buildings, and what may be tents for the enlisted men, (ratings), plus a tennis court for the officers. Credit the previous photo to Wing Commander C.H. Rigby, RAF Ret. You have control.
