Spot on. Taken over Khormaksar in 1965 from a Hunter FR10 of No1417 Flt; Hunters of 8 & 43 Sqns on the pan, with Dakotas of Aden Airways top-ish right. On the bottom right-ish are the Hunter Strike Wing buildings: 8 Sqn is the lower, HQ in the middle, and 43 (spit)at the top.

I agree with with Mel - it's Hurn. The BAC 1-11 Avionics Test group (aka the "Fighting Ninth") were housed in a line of WWII huts closest to the runway but just west of the Flight Shed. Outside one was a large concrete drain pipe still with the notice "International Departures" painted in lime green & white. IIRC when they cleaned out one of the old BAC storage huts at Hurn Bridge they found the original Departure Lounge furniture & fittings which now grace the Airport Club.

Yessir SpeechlessTwo, you have it in one.
The floor is now yours.
Edited to add that the Plymouth Roborough photo was taken in very early 1930s.

I've wasted a LONG time searching for a match. Looks like:
Major city, lots of gates.
South-central USA because of color of earth around road construction in background and scruffy burn-out grass by taxiways.
But still no match.

Mel, You jest, I think I've looked at all the US airports south of 35N on Google and it doesn't look like any of them. I can't believe it is DFW long ago - or is it?
Not LAX, LGB, LAS, PHX, ABQ, DFW?, DAL, SAT, AUS, MSY, ATL, JAX, TPA, MIA, FLL, SAV, MCO, SDF, ...
Hey, Maybe it's Memphis long ago (1960s?) after all. AirNav says MEM is at
35-02-32.7000N / 089-58-36.0000W
So just above 35N.
