StbdD - You have control. Congratulations.

I gather the whole area is undergoing refurbishment to the tune of $200 million of US Air Force money. The South runway possibly to be used as a C-130 strip.

I could not find this one on the list and am a bit surprised it has not been done before.

Runway pattern has a vague resemblance to Ternhill but the hangars look wrong.

It must be west of the pond as the 0 is missing from the runway numbers (4 & 5 not 04 & 05).

This was a truly pioneering airfield which was re-named in 1918.

Having had a quick Google, Mills Field, renamed Mather AFB in 1918, fits the description - but I am struggling to reconcile that with the imagery!
