Not Panama sorry.

In fact, Panama is rather a long way from this airfield.....

Not Wake Island & not Carlisle.

Wake Island is the closest so far.

Sorry, not Guam.

Wake Island was the closest, but not close.

Guam is closer.

Not Okinawa, Port Moresby or Palau & still not Guam

This airfield was originally built by the French & 'improved' by the Japanese.

I have it on good authority that the challenge aerodrome might be Can Tho AAF, South Vietnam. Photo taken in 1965. ?
