Some nice passenger on a Tiger flight yesterday night left a Bomb threat in the seat-pocket, was a hoax of course, flight only delayed couple of hrs in Bne.

Wow, really does show how the media are sure over Tiger and their antics now.

Full year results have been released for April 2009-March 2010. In Singapore dollars.

-28.3m profit posted after tax, bouncing back after a 9m loss in the first quarter. Company lost 21.7m on hedging. He noted that they would have posted a $50m profit if it wasn't for hedging losses. Forecast for next year is in upwards of 80m.
-7 more A320's due before early next year, 2 to Avalon, 5 more to Singapore/Australia/New Airline. 2 older aircraft in Singapore will most likely end service.

See here

This must be starting to bite the QF group and VB by now, what happens when the economy tightens up?

The negotiations are being handled by the AFAP.

For those who have no idea about the importance of history, they are scr##ed.

As indicated by the company, who couldn't care less.

Why should they. They know the history of the AFAP.

Muff Hunter,

The AFAP is only as good as it's membership. The industrial officer organised two pilot meetings in Adelaide recently to find out what the pilots wanted. On both occasions, after flying from Melbourne and paying for a venue NOT ONE pilot showed up.

If they get s##t they deserve it.

And why don't you think anyone showed up?

Was it because they have no confidence in the AFAP negotiating a good deal for them?

Most pilots at EBA time are a bit like the barbers cat, full of p#ss and wind but not much action when it comes down to it.

Lots of talk, threats but only to quick to sign then bitch about the EBA for it's duration.

And why don't you think anyone showed up?
Because they were all trying to do their 1000 hrs to make the pay look good ?
