I understand it was not a base but worked from EDI. Aberdeen (when it starts), Glasgow and Edinburgh routes are not affected.

I couldn't find the press release but it has been announced internally apparently and both are certainly not in the booking engine after the first week of the New Year when I checked Saturday.

Blimey, that didn’t last long!

Didnt work last last time so difficult to see how it would work this time round.

Indeed, EMA-BRU no more bookable.

Guess the loadfactors are not that good??

But so far not a single official word about INV-EMA-BRU.

Letsflycwl 20th Dec 2019 14:04

Are Loganair also adding additional flights GLA-CWL-GLA for new year ? Was original 8 flights now appears on the booking engine to have gone up to 12 per week but no announcement anywhere in this.

No it looks like they changed the times to an evening flight. So still 8 weekly.

Better than nothing, but still think it needed the BE lower cost model. Loganair prices can be eyewatering and ive heard often people just go to BHX instead

You say that but BE are coming onto the SEN-GLA route and they’re not any cheaper. In fact if you need to add a bag the Logan fares are better value.

Rob Royston 20th Dec 2019 22:53

Saw in the Stornoway Gazette that Loganair are going all jet on the Benbecula services.

I'm flying with them on the inaugural flight and it cost me with seat selection £50 one way. From what I remember Flybe were about the same. The GLA flights are definitely cheaper than Flybe's EDI flights.

A inaugural promo fare with 3 months lead time is a whole different ball park... Some fares in March are already >£200 one way even as part of a return.

Great news for Dundee, but I wonder what makes Loganair think Dundee Belfast will work this time?
