Wonder if the discount will start again? Luton has been spectacular in failing to attract a single new airline in 3 years although this is more of a swap of carriers.

I doubt it, slots at AMS are scarce so should be same times, just a rebranding exercise with the same IB codeshare

If they are going to replace vueling I wonder what they are going to do with those extra 30 seats on A321. Vueling rarely carries more than 150 pax. In winter that number is even lower.

My understanding is the aircraft will be transferrred from Vueling, and they will remain 320’s.

LTNman, could this be the new airline you wanted to see https://www.exyuaviation.com/2019/03...tions.html?m=1
I think they are more interested in NEOs as don't they give a financial incentives for quieter and greener technology?

Wizz

Wizz will replace the empty slots from its Kharkiv flights to Ohrid (2 weekly). This flight was operated before but I’m not sure how long ago that was. Will start first week of April.

Does anyone know if the new Level service to Amsterdam will be on the 321 or 320??

I doubt the reporter would even know the one and only terminal is made up of at least 9 separate buildings that have been added over the years. I don't think evacuations include the entire 9 buildings but just zoned areas.

Also look at the mayhem in front of the terminal. What if something was really happening inside of the terminal? How would fire fighters get through the crowds in a hurry as barriers have been put up to stop people walking off the pavements. Remember Luton is still on its winter timetables and the evacuation happened at an off peak time of day.

Baggage reclaim ground to halt as passengers could not leave the 1969 terminal to exit via the newer bits. As can be seen passengers are facing the exit into the new build.

Operated seasonally last year also.

So G-WUKL is set to join the party today, replacing HA-LYG, which was replacing G-WUKA. Anyone know what happened to KA?

Also G-WUKJ to be delivered soon, presumably also based at LTN, I thought there was no more night stopper stands available at LTN?

Will we see a KK soon?

HA-LVA had a bird strike a few days ago and was at LTN for several hours because there were no NEO engineers at Storm. EasyJet probably unwilling to help. I think the engineer came in from STN.

Teaboy24 26th Mar 2019 10:45

G-WUKA is a A.320 and gone to Wizz as HA-LSB, as G-WUKL is aa A.321 would seem to indicate that Wizz UK are converting to an all A.321 fleet maybe.

Up until now Wizz have avoided having 2 last letters the same i.e. no HA-LPP / HA-LWW / HA-LXX etc. No idea why. Whether the same will be applied to Wizz UK remains to be seen. WUKL was officially registered yesterday (25th Mar). WUKJ not yet registered.
