bmibaby wont fly to JER to early if that what your asking? crack of sparrows into JER is a risk at any time of the year for fog and low cloud so expect a 10: to 10:30 depature returning around around 14:30 (after the aircraft has been to BOH and back) the profile of JER pax fits well with the TLC that they will get from bmibaby cabin crew and people with RPM are made to feel welcome not a pain in the arse.

Thanks INKJET
to put it into english, as our first pick up is Daventry to have a early dep from EMA would give us a very early dep from Daventry and the prescent times fron EMA are good for our clients.

They are all ex-bmi or baby a/c.
Maybe the 767 will get a nice new shiny paintjob, shortly.
And there goes that flying pig !

The 737's are TOYA TOYB and TOYC all now Ex BMI Baby
The 3 A321's are MEDE MIDL and MIDR again all BMI handbacks, all are going through East Mids at the same time with the fleet reductions.

AN 225

Any news if the 225 is visiting this weekend?many people keen to see it

Centre cities 30th Apr 2010 14:50

Thomson

Reference ORLANDO and the Domincan, Orlando shows from BHX but Dominican does not, perhaps they are operating certain destinations from BHX/EMA so as not to split the customer base.

An225 + Dc8 + Thomson.

Sadly heard nothing on the An225:( But have heard theres a 9G Dc8 in around lunch today:ok:.

I have never understood why thomson put most of there eggs in the birmingham basket. EMA is a very easy airport to get to and fly from.

OliWW 1st May 2010 09:18

I don't understand why they have got rid of Goa for the winter coming up, it is a very popular route!! Orlando has operated since 2005 and has been a massive hit, Puerto Plata and Punta Cuna operated for some time, but never seemed very popular, so they moved the flights else where, so I cannot understand why bring back the D.Republic flights, and get rid of Orlando

Not sure what you mean by "eggs all in one basket" at BHX. BHX was down-graded at first this summer with a 73H replacing a 757 but luckily Thomson must have noticed the lack seats in general from BHX this summer and have now added a 763 high density in place of a 757 from 20/05/2010.

Goa operated every week full from BHX and it was moved/consolidated to EMA and never came back.

Dominican Republic has now been dropped from BHX but kept from EMA.

Orlando/Sanford seems to have been dropped from EMA but BHX has not taken it and I doubt it is to sure up the BHX flight as it is constantly full at steep fares unless they intend to add a second weekly but nothing bookable as yet.

It just sounds as if Thomson are making sure the Midlands market is not saturated although I agree the Sanford is surprising considering the number of seats available in general from London/Manchester/Glasgow. Just one flight a week from the Midlands a week seems pathetic.

OliWW

Goa - as I said above BHX was always full so it has got to be yields, too many last minute discount packages probably but who knows?
.

As for the Dominican Republic, if there was one week long-haul from
BHX it was this one and lets hope that this will boost EMA's flight.
